Official Wexford Tour Rules
This society is built on honour and integrity. These rules exist to ensure fair, competitive, and realistic gameplay across all events on the Wexford Tour.

Article I
Controller Modifications
Modifications to a controller of any kind are prohibited from gameplay on the Wexford Tour.
- Any foreign object used to aid your swing (e.g. a popsicle stick).
- Any change in software on a 3rd party controller that deviates from stock settings (e.g. changing x/y bias, changing deadzones, etc.).
- If you're not using your hands, fingers, or a body part of some kind, it is considered a modification and is prohibited.
- Certain situations where a controller modification is required for a member will be discussed on a case-by-case basis (e.g. a physical hindrance that prevents the use of body parts only).
Wexford admins reserve the right to penalize, suspend, or ban any member for violation of these rules as they see fit.
Article II
Streaming
The Wexford Tour strongly encourages all players to stream rounds played β whether it is a matchday, major, special tourney, or otherwise. A link to your stream should be sent to the #live-streams channel in Discord.
If you are playing in a group, only one person is required to stream.
VODs are strongly encouraged to be kept active on Twitch or YouTube.
- This is a simple CYA (Cover Your Actions) β e.g. a chip on a green not longer than 100ft where you feel your putt was impeded by a bunker or other obstacle.
Shot feedback must be turned ON while playing your rounds.
- This is not the difficulty setting β it is found in your personal HUD settings.
- Display and HUDβΊShot FeedbackβΊON
Wexford admins reserve the right to penalize, suspend, or ban any member for violation of these rules as they see fit.
Article III
Major Play
All Major Tournaments are played with Scout Cam OFF. This setting is applied in the society settings when the event is created.
Approach & Putting Cameras must be turned OFF in your personal settings.
- SettingsβΊCamerasβΊApproach & Putting CamerasβΊOFF
- Turning this off ensures the same camera angles are available for all players and creates a fair play environment.
- Failure to comply will result in a 2-stroke penalty per round played with these cameras on.
3-ball or 4-ball play is strongly encouraged for at least two rounds of every major.
- Use the Tee Times feature on the website to book rounds with fellow Wexicans.
- We understand that time zones and life circumstances make this not always feasible. Please use the ghost feature before teeing off to add players into your group.
- If a player is consistently playing solo without ghosts, they will be subject to stroke penalties and/or a deduction of points in league table standings.
The cut line for all majors is 60% of the entire field, including ties.
Article IV
Shield Event
The Shield event is now played as Round 3 of the running major. It is no longer a separate standalone event.
If you do not make the cut after Round 2, you will play Round 3 as the Shield event only.
Every player will play Rounds 1, 2, and 3 β no exceptions.
- If you missed the 60% cut line, Round 3 only counts as your Shield round.
- If you did not make the cut, do not play Round 4.
- If a player who missed the cut plays Round 4 of the major, they will be penalized 6 points from their league table standings.
Article V
Other Gameplay Rules
Chipping on greens is prohibited if the ball lies within 100ft of the pin.
- The ONLY exception is if your putting line is obstructed by rough, bunker, or fringe and you cannot reasonably putt without coming into contact with those obstructions.
- When in doubt, use common sense. You may pause play and ask an admin to join your stream if available.
- If playing in a group, discuss it with your playing partners and decide what is right.
- If all else fails, ensure your VODs are on β play what you think is right and consult an admin afterwards. You may also send a screen recording to an admin for a ruling.
- Violations result in a 2-stroke penalty to your scorecard for the round being played.
Discussing exact distances of shots with playing partners is prohibited (Caddying Rule).
- Discussing the exact distance of a shot you hit to a playing partner before they play their shot is strictly prohibited β especially on par 3s.
- General comments such as "I hit regular driver" or "I hit choked 3 wood" are within the rules.
- Asking your playing partner exactly what they hit is a direct violation of the rules.
- Exception: any doubles format tournament (e.g. Team Event Doubles Alt Shot) β all discussion within that format is permitted.
- Violations result in a 2-stroke penalty to your scorecard for the round being played.
While these rules may seem strict, the admins are dedicated to providing the most realistic and fair society on PGA 2K25 and beyond. If you see any player in violation of the above rules, please let an admin know and we will look into it. We are not searching for a witch hunt β however, we must play within the rules of the society.
